The Courtyard Surgery Pavilion was developed as an expansion of Dr. David Feil's ophthalmology  practice, when the Visalia Eye Center was opened  in1983 to offer more comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services to his patients. The Visalia Eye Center was the first office-based ambulatory surgery center in the South Valley.  Dr. Stan Feil  joined his father's growing practice in 1998 and now holds the title of Medical Director/Owner for both the practice and Surgery Center. In 2005, the eye center and surgery center, now known as the Courtyard Surgery Pavilion, moved to it's current location.

The Surgery Pavilion consists of two fully equipped surgical suites and two laser treatment rooms. We have lasers available to provide modern treatments to patients with diabetic eye disease, glaucoma, and other eye conditions. Our expanded facility also includes a permanent on-site laser refractive facility (LASIK, PRK, PTK), yet another first for Visalia.

The Courtyard Surgery Pavilion (CSP) has enjoyed wide acceptance by patients  for convenience, comfort, safety and competent care by our capable and knowledgeable staff. Committed to providing the highest quality of care to our patients since its inception, CSP has achieved and maintained accreditation from the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) and the Centers for Medicare Services (CMS).

Accreditation from AAAHC and CMS reassures our patients that our center implements the best practices in health care and complies with nationally recognized standards.
